Pankaj, the impact of site speed to a user is one of the major reasons why search engines, specifically Google decided to consider it as a ranking factor.

As you have pointed correctly, page speed has a lot of implications when it comes to user attraction and retention. Unless your site has a lot of value to the viewer, slow page speed can be a huge turn off.

Google may not consider the page speed as a ranking factor but in the eyes of the visitors it harms the site. If a page takes too much time to get loaded then the visitor will not wait for the site to open. He will just skip to other option.
So the page speed must be a factor for the visitors.

I guess I am not fully understanding Skypes network requirments. All incoming port 80/443 requests on my network are forwarded to the web server. I do not want all high port numbers flapping in the wind, can Skype just live on one single consistant port and provide outstanding performance? Or does it really need un-restricted access to all high ports and port 80.

What does Skype really need to preform great? The posted requirments seem out of line.

hey there and thank you for your information – I have definitely picked up anything new from right here. I did however expertise some technical issues using this site, as I experienced to reload the web site lots of times previous to I could get it to load correctly. I had been wondering if your web host is OK? Not that I am complaining, but sluggish loading instances times will often affect your placement in google and could damage your high quality score if ads and marketing with Adwords. Well I am adding this RSS to my e-mail and could look out for much more of your respective exciting content. Make sure you update this again soon..
