			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rasmus Lerdorf is a Danish programmer and is most notable as the creator of the PHP programming language. He is a frequent speaker at Open Source Software Forums. He authored the first two versions of PHP &#8211; Hypertext Preprocessor (the name is a recursive acronym) and participated in the development of later versions of PHP led by a group of developers including Jim Winstead , Stig Bakken, Shane Caraveo, Andi Gutmans and Zeev Suraski.</p>
<p>He has contributed to the Apache HTTP Server and he also came up with the LIMIT clause and added it to the mSQL Database in 1995.</p>
